Tags are essential elements in creating intuitive-to-use content that helps categorise, organise and facilitate information retrieval. Tags allow different types of content to be grouped around specific keywords defining a distinctive term assigned to a piece of information (such as an article, document or section) in order to describe its content and make it easier to search by topic of interest to the reader. Tags play a key role in improving the user experience by enabling efficient navigation and discovery of relevant content.
Umpire contains a collection of all the tags used in the system, allowing for efficient review and search and editing in situations where we do not want to lose tagged content just to modify the name and remove unnecessary tags.
